Remember to Use Your Dental Insurance/ Flex Spending Money

Proper and consistent dental care is crucial to maintaining your good health, but getting quality care can sometimes be expensive. At White Plains Family Dentistry, we understand the cost of good dental care can be off-putting to some of our patients, which is why we’ve made it a point to work with as many health care providers as possible and provide unique financing options so that you can receive dental care at a flexible and fair price.

Dental Insurance

Our team is highly skilled at navigating through the dental insurance system and can help ensure you get the best coverage possible for all of your dental needs. If you’re covered under a dental plan provided by your employer or the HealthCare Marketplace, you’re most likely covered for dental benefits between $1,000-$2,000 per year.

If you’re unsure whether we accept your insurance, please give us a call so that we can verify your benefits. We’re always working to expand our participation with dental plans and are currently working with various professional unions to be able to accept more local self-funded plans.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

An FSA is a unique account that you contribute money to, then use that money for out-of-pocket medical and dental expenses. You’re only able to contribute up to $2,650 per year to your FSA and can use that money toward paying deductibles, copays, or even certain types of procedures, such as dental implants and Invisalign®.

Not insured? We’ve got you covered

Often the price of dental procedures, no matter how simple, can deter patients without dental insurance from seeking treatment. That’s why we’ve devised a plan to help. If you don’t have access to dental insurance but are in need of dental care, you can take advantage of our in-house savings plan.

Our in-house savings plan has an annual fee of $350/year or $29/month and includes two exams, two cleanings, and all of your necessary X-rays per year. On top of that, you’ll also get 20% off any treatment, such as a root canal or certain cosmetic dentistry procedures, you receive in our office during the year.

If our in-house savings plan isn’t right for you, we also offer flexible financing options through our lending partners that include CareCredit, LendingClub, and Wells Fargo. This option provides flexibility to our patients and allows them to finance their dental expenses over time.

If you have questions about the cost of dental care or any insurance-related topics, please give us a call today, and we’ll be happy to get you the answers you need.
